Military Road Resurfacing: We'd like our road markings back please...
Earlier this week Military Road was given a much needed re-surfacing, which was complete by Wednesday, but as yet there's no sign of the road markings being replaced. The works, which took two days to complete and started a day late, don't seem to have been scheduled in such a way as to result in the prompt repainting of the double yellow lines and other markings.

Westbury hospital site
The outline application from PlanningSphere Ltd to build up to 60 houses on the site of the former Westbury Hospital went to planning committee on Wednesday August 10th. The scheme has attracted strong criticism in the town, both over the loss of the site as a potential health facility and over its suitability for housing.

Delay in Launch of Stanford Lorry Park Design Consultation
