Retirement housing scheme gets go ahead at Herbert Grey College.

The site off Little Church Street has gained planning permission for 73 retirement flats and community facilities. Cllr. Sue Roodhouse said, "This will mean the loss of St Andrews Church House which English Heritage declined to list but we will see retained and the untidy extensions removed. Marjorie Hume House will reappear from the shadows behind the fence to become a main focal point of the development."
