Public Health Budget Increase is Welcome After Labour Neglect
Responding to the Government's announcement on the public health funding settlement, Cllr Nick Hollinghurst, County Councillor for Tring and the Villages said: "Here in Hertfordshire our funding for Public Health will increase by 10% per annum for the next two years. This is the largest percentage increase in Britain and is appropriate for a county where the population has increased so much over the last 10 years. The extra money will help Hertfordshire tackle a number of Public Health issues including rising obesity, alcohol abuse and smoking."

Tories respond to criticism over flawed consultations…by not consulting at all
Over the years, Liberal Democrat councillors have strongly criticised the Tory administration for their flawed consultations. In recent weeks, it has come to light that the Tory vision for Brentwood known as "the corporate plan" is based on responses from 14 residents.
