Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Friday 16th February) backed calls by Liberal Democrat Leader Sir Menzies Campbell MP for Scottish Nationalist Leader Alex Salmond to make up his mind which constituents he wishes to serve and which parliament he wants to be in.
BBC Kent this morning broadcast an interview and coverage of Darren Briddock's work to get South Eastern Trains to refurbish the passenger tunnel at Folkestone West Station. Morehall campaigner Darren drew attention to the state of the underpass, its impact on tourists visiting our area, and the concerns of local people of using the tunnel at night.
Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats have reacted with grave concern to the news that air quality hotspots are spreading beyond those previously identified. Nitrogen Dioxide levels on an increasing number of roads in the town centre are exceeding government targets for air quality. Meanwhile, excessively high levels of this pollutant are also present at suburban sites such as Goldington Road and Ampthill Road.
