The Liberal Democrats in Shepway lost all their seats on Shepway District Council in the 5th May local elections, with the Conservatives now holding 45 of 47 seats on Shepway District Council. On Folkestone Town Council, Lee Walker was elected as Liberal Democrat councillor for Harbour Ward. On Sandgate Parish Council, Gary Fuller was elected to Sandgate Valley ward, and Tim Prater was elected to Sandgate Village ward.
Dundee Liberal Democrats today thanked all Dundee voters who supported Scottish Liberal Democrat candidates Allan Petrie (Dundee City East) and Alison Burns (Dundee City West) last Thursday.

Sadly as of the 6th May there are still no Lib Dem councillors in Bromsgrove. The current political climate was always going to be difficult to challenge a strong Conservative majority and it turns out that this was indeed the case yesterday. The Conservatives have even gained 2 seats in the elections - thus increasing their majority.
