Wiltshire Councillor Ian West is calling for an inquiry to be set up over the practices at the Stonehenge site. He has written to John Glen, MP for Salisbury, seeking support and asking him to question the appropriate departments and ask questions in Parliament.

Despite a Rugby Borough Council press release stating that a "cross party waste management services working group" will be looking at the issue of the green bin services being stopped from December until March next year, Cllr Jerry Roodhouse has confirmed in a letter to the local papers that the Liberal Democrats Group on Rugby Borough Council will not be participating because decisons have already been made behind closed doors.
