We have therefore identified "Six to Fix" priority areas where action is needed to help create a Borough of opportunity that is a great place to live, work, study, visit and do business. Rochdale MP Paul Rowen has teamed up local car dealer Terry Mason to help raise £1650 for a School in Kenya. Both Mr Rowen and Mr Mason recently took the time to organise a special fund raiser at local restaurant the India Lounge on Spotland Road. The £1659 raised will go towards the cost of building a new school in Marigat, Kenya.
The numbers of planning applications being determined by the Finchley and Golders Green Planning sub committee are fewer and fewer. Whether this is down to the recession or whether it is because of the tighter rules on what can now come to committee is unclear.
