Thanks to the involvement of local campaigner Zahid Shah and Parliamentary Spokesperson Robin Lawrence Wolverhampton Council has begun enforcement procedures to stop residents being blighted by fly-tipping in alley ways running behind their houses. Commenting on the case Zahid Shah said, "Local residents had approached Wolverhampton Council directly to ask for a clean up but it was not until the Liberal Democrats got involved that things really started to happen."Parliamentary Spokesperson Robin Lawrence added, "The Liberal Democrats are happy to help with solving fly-tipping problems anywhere in Wolverhampton South West."
