Disabled Bays Stay Empty
Lib Dem councillors in Epsom and Ewell are keeping a close eye on empty Disabled Parking bays in the Town Hall car park, since the council increased provision from 9 up to 20 bays, earlier this month.

But the story has the ring of truth about it -- certainly, many disgruntled Lib Dems would sympathise if he has -- and as the news originated in a post by my old friend Mark Seddon, former editor of the Tribune and one-time member of Labour's NEC, I'm inclined to believe that there's something in it.

Emergency short term road closure - Warren Road, Folkestone from 24 August 2010
Kent Highways have advised that because of a sewer collapse, it will be necessary to close Warren Road, Folkestone. This is due to commence from 24 August 2010 and it is likely the road will be closed for up to 2 weeks as a result of these emergency sewer repair works.
