CONFIRMED: Another charge against Danczuk to be investigated

Parliamentary watchdogs have confirmed that a further complaint against under fire MP Simon Danczuk will be investigated. IPSA (the Independent Parliamentary Standard's Authority) will now officially investigate his parking claims. Evidence was unearthed that proved that Mr Danczuk had been charging the taxpayer for his hefty parking fees whilst abroad on holiday. It was part of a hefty £178.50 bill for parking paid for on 1st August 2015. IPSA said in an email to Rochdale Liberal Democrats: "We have decided to consider this complaint as part of our existing investigation, the outcome of which will be published in a report at the conclusion of the investigation. Thank you for bringing this to our attention." Mr Danczuk is currently being investigated for 'dodgy' accommodation expense claims. He claimed thousands for four dependent children. This is despite not seeing two of them and the other not routinely living with him in London. This is the latest controversy to involve Mr Danczuk. He is currently suspend

Liz Thirsk launches Kirkholt campaign for bigger bus

Balderstone and Kirkholt campaigner Liz Thirsk has launched a campaign to double the size of the number 6 bus. The popular minibus which goes through the Kirkholt Estate is currently oversuscribed. Former councillor Liz has received complaints from commuters and is leading the campaign to improve the service. She wants to double the size to a single-deck to accomodate more commuters.
