George Smid supports Cancer Research and Treatment
A number of residents have written to me about Cancer Research and Treatment. I am delighted to support the campaigns for improved research, quick diagnosis and also become a Breast Cancer Ambassador. If I am elected in May I can say with certainty that I will always fight to promote cancer research and treatment. Cancer is a horrible disease, I know several of my family have suffered from it over the years. Although we have made great progress on one, five and ten-year survival rates in the last thirty years, more still needs to be done if we are to beat breast cancer for good.
