Disappointment at NHS inspection event (4 March)
There was disappointment at the NHS Inspectors meeting this evening (Wednesday 4 March) when the Care Quality Commission inspectors said they were not there to take views on what services should be available to local residents at the Hospital of St Cross. Issues relating to GP Surgeries closing their waiting lists, or GP Surgeries just closing and the desirability of restoring maternity and accident emergency services to deal with Rugby's rapidly growing population were not considered by the commission.
