NHS Wales is facing mounting pressure in diagnostic imaging services, with rising agency staffing costs and an ageing radiography workforce highlighting long-term risks to patient care, according to new research from the Welsh Liberal Democrats.

Alison Bennett, Liberal Democrat MP for Mid Sussex, and Ben Dempsey, the Lib Dem candidate for Sussex Mayor, have condemned to the Government's statement on allowing County Councils to request the cancellation of elections in Sussex.
"First, the May 2025 county elections were delayed with the promise of a new Mayor. Then, government cancelled Mayoral elections. Now, they are inviting the Sussex Tories to help them finish the job by 'requesting' a further delay to county elections."
